Georg Röggla is affiliated to the Medical University of Vienna in Austria as Senior Lecturer and is Head of a Department of Internal Medicine in a teaching hospital. Yes, I have been reimbursed by professional organisations for expenses incurred in attending meetings and courses in connection with a speaking engagement.

Yes, I have received fees for lectures on topics relating emergency medicine and intensive care medicine from pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and professional organisations.
 
c) A fee for organising education?
No.
 
d) Funds for research?
Yes, I have been an investigator in clinical trials in the field of internal medicine funded by pharmaceutical companies.  Following the regulations in my hospital, I do not directly receive research money from the sponsor, cash flow goes from the sponsor to a science account in hospital.
 
e) Funds for a member of staff?
Yes, members of my team have in the past received fees for taking part in clinical trials as sub investigators. Following the regulations in my hospital there is no direct cash flow from the sponsor to clinical investigators any more.
 
f) Fees for consulting?

Yes, I have been an employee of the Medical University of Vienna in Austria and I am connected to this institution as a senior lecturer.
