This exciting and innovative programme in Leadership in Medical Education, has been developed as a partnership between Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and the BMJ (United Kingdom). Our aims are to create a network of international leaders who will transform health professional education for the better.
Programme curriculum
The programme will focus on leadership by individuals within the broader context of curriculum changes in medical education. The programme will provide you with the opportunity to learn how to:
• Enhance you and your organisation’s capacity to implement educational change
• Master tools for curriculum planning
• Analyse stakeholders’ interests and agendas effectively
• Understand your own leadership style within your organisation’s context
• Increase your organisation’s capacity to implement strategies for educational change
Using case studies from successful leadership and management reform, and utilising the skills and experience of a respected international faculty, the programme is designed to provide you with learning in a highly interactive setting offering opportunities for collaborative networking.
