Yes - I have been paid to provide ethics training to health care professionals; the payments have been from NHS trusts only.

Yes - As an academic it is part of my job to obtain research funding. My current funding comes from the NIHR and the European Commission. I do not believe this funding will influence my role on the BMJ Ethics Committee.
