Competing interests statement

It is of course difficult to answer these questions ‘in general’ rather than for a specific paper, but there are obviously some people and organisations that I do not have much time for, and I carry around various biases that may be relevant – like I am in favour of euthanasia, and worry about doctors with industry links to the extent of being suspicious in some cases.
