Interacting with bmj.com

BMJ.com delivers more than just articles. We aim to engage with our readers across a wide range of media.

You can access abstracts from the latest BMJ, along with the full text of a range of articles bmj.com via your PDA; or receive updates from bmj.com via RSS.

You can actively engage with bmj.com through our blog, webchats, polls and debates.

  • Our debates have allowed us to engage in issues that can’t easily be decided by a vote, and for those issues that can, we run polls across our readership and beyond to canvas your views.

  • As part of our theme issues, we host hour long webchats, the transcripts of which can be accessed from the archive.

If you have something to add to an article, why not send us your comments using rapid responses, best thought of as electronic letters to the editor? Rapid responses appear with the relevant article, or you can view all rapid responses over a period of up to three weeks, by selecting the link to the left.

We have recently been experimenting with an audio pilot. Listen to the medical magazine programme and an interview of Sir Liam Donaldson by Sue MacGregor.

We're always looking for ways to engage our readers more, so please let us know what you'd like, using our feedback page.
